Wat is een werkstation in de cloud?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Met de cloud kunt u virtuele machines op basis van het besturingssysteem Windows 10 van Microsoft opzetten en laten draaien. De cloud-native oplossing Azure Virtual Desktop biedt dezelfde gebruikerservaring als een fysieke machine: software installeren en gebruiken, werken en samenwerken in documenten, printopdrachten uitvoeren, documenten scannen …. Wat zijn de voordelen van een virtuele machine?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

1 – U wordt minder afhankelijk van een bepaalde computer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Een klassiek werkstation, dus een laptop of een vaste computer, biedt een gebruiker amper vrijheid.\u00a0 De activiteit ervan wordt immers beperkt door de gebruikte machine. Een computer kan technisch verouderd zijn, stukgaan, verloren gaan of gestolen worden. Een virtuele machine vermindert de afhankelijkheid van een fysieke computer door de volledige werkomgeving naar de cloud te verplaatsen: de hard- en software \u00e9n de werkdocumenten.<\/p>\n

2 – U past de configuratie in real time aan in functie van uw noden<\/strong><\/p>\n

Virtuele machines bieden qua hardware enorm veel flexibiliteit. Met een paar muisklikken kan een configuratie worden aangepast en die wijziging is ook meteen van toepassing. Het is mogelijk om de hoeveelheid RAM, het aantal kernen en de kracht van de processor, en de schijfruimte van de harde schijf of SSD aan te passen en een grafische kaart toe te voegen. In tegenstelling tot een fysieke machine waarbij interventies aan de hardware vereist zijn, kunnen virtuele machines rechtstreeks vanuit een beheersinterface worden gewijzigd. De aanpassingen worden onmiddellijk ge\u00efmplementeerd zodat u niet hoeft te wachten om van uw nieuwe configuratie te kunnen genieten.<\/p>\n

3 – Maak Bring Your Own Device aantrekkelijker<\/strong><\/p>\n

Azure Virtual Desktop maakt het makkelijker om BYOD in uw organisatie in te burgeren. De gebruiker heeft toegang tot zijn werkomgeving die de IT-beheerder heeft geconfigureerd via een client die op een apparaat naar keuze is ge\u00efnstalleerd. De werknemer kan immers een brede waaier aan apparaten gebruiken: computers met Windows, macOS of Linux, maar ook mobiele apparaten met Android of iOS. Voor elk van deze platformen zijn clients beschikbaar, maar ook toegang via een moderne browser die HTML5 ondersteunt voor meer toegangsmogelijkheden.<\/p>\n
